This trip is the first for all of us into the Sabinoso Wilderness East of Las Vegas, NM. It was led by Mark Dunham, the organizer of SWEL Meetup. We hiked a semi-circle across the central mesa of the area. Most of the canyons comprised of the wilderness area radiate from here. There is no name for this mesa on any map. It is a mish mash of private and public land. This makes it difficult to avoid trespassing.

I did not measure distance or ascent on this trip. Suffice to say, it can be done easily in 5 or 6 hours. It is nearly flat. Most of the photos are in the Meetup Gallery.
