Trip Report 2/26/2017
We started by missing a turn or rather I took a turn on the trail that lead the wrong way. We decided to make it a different hike than planned but with the same goal. The Caja del Rio is like that. You pick a direction and just go. Weather was cool and blustery without a lot of Sun. Two thirds of the hike was cross country across uneven, grassy terrain. Trails seem like a luxury sometimes. The photos of Meghan and Nancy are at the main rock art panels. Unfortunately it was a bad day for photography. I might upload some file photos I have taken in better light.
Our totals were 13.4 miles and 1050 feet. Thanks Nancy and Meghan!
