Clear and warm weather. Too warm actually for late November. The horse trap was a waste of time unless you are into old barbed wire. The pour off is more spectacular than I remember. I know an old timer who has been there, otherwise no one else as far as I know. I would head into the canyon (really it’s a canyon, not an arroyo) lower down next time to avoid the boulder hopping for half a mile. All the photos are John’s except the track. Some cell phone photos will not show up on certain types of galleries. 8.8 miles, 948 feet, 4 hours 21 minutes. John Blakey and SK Lund.

Looking forward to a return trip so I can get some other views of the drop-off. Totally surprised by the height of the drop-off. Would be spectacular to see water cascading over it after a storm. Just have to dodge lightning in the process.
